Absolutely wonderful! Beautiful views. Lynda is a great host, friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Lodge decor is lovely, quality fittings throughout. Beautiful bathroom with rainfall and ordinary shower heads. Restful and comfortable lounge with mainly glass outlook to make most of the view. Lovely welcome hamper. Everything you need. Hot tub wonderful (lynda maintains it daily!). Bed and bedding were great again with great views and skies to wake up to. Plenty of storage. Wood burning stove. Plenty of room for parking. Although not fair from the road, peaceful and restful stay.We will definitely be back. We stayed for a week from 21st Feb.Lesley and Ray

A fabulous family run business, they have thought of everything, from the position of the 3 lodges, offering privacy yet retaining the stunning views over Lauder, to the quality and spec. Well equipped, comfortable, spacious, with both bedrooms and the main living area enjoying the beautiful vista. The hot tub and wood burning stove were welcome additions on cold crispy Nov days/nights, enjoying the milky way overhead whilst chilling out, bliss. Lynda and family are welcoming hosts and are only to happy to offer their advice and ensure that your stay is memorable - highly recommend.

Nothing short of breathtaking when you first walk through the door. First time visitors to this site and not disappointed at all. The huge doors overlooking the castle and surrounding town was amazing - so much so that the 3 TVs in this lodge weren't used even once. Lost many minutes just gazing outside.Beds very comfy. Bathrooms very clean and spacious, and the complementary body wash and shampoo were a lovely touch. Speaking of complementary, the welcome basket was such a thoughtful addition. Milk in the fridge for the first brew - very much required!Parking was ample, and the driveway was nicely set out. I had no concerns about the security either. The hot tub was nice, and there is plenty of plastic vessels for use whilst enjoying the tranquility.Overall, would definitely recommend. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the stay. Thank you!

This place is idyllic. Small site - only 3 lodges so it’s so peaceful - with the most spectacular view.Bedrooms really good sizes and a great lounge / kitchen area with washing machine.Immaculate throughout, very dog friendly with personal touches and a nice little starter set incase you haven’t taken any bits with you.Sunken hot tub on the decking is dreamy. It’s not enclosed yet still very private - they’ve even got a dog peg so your pouch won’t wander if you’re in the tub!Gas BBQ was well used by us as usual no matter the weather - as it’s undercover with a chair for the cook!A truly hidden gem this place. By far one of the best lodges we’ve ever stayed in.
